Waiting Child : Zachary

In this waiting child segment we introduce you to a smart, talented, loving young boy who is in need of a forever family.

Meet Zachary. He’s 13 years old and when he gets older his dream is to find a cure for cancer, “Thousands and probably millions of people die of cancer and it’s just heartbreaking.”

This smart 7^th grader really likes math and science.  He’s a boy scout and also plays the trombone. He jokes that he would have preferred a smaller instrument, “I thought it was going to be smaller, when I got it I was like I knew I should have picked the trumpet.”

Zachary is a good kid who needs a forever family.  He shares that he doesn’t care what his future family looks like or acts like. He just has one request—to be loved, “To me it doesn’t really matter as long as I’m being taken care of it doesn’t really matter.”
