Detectives with CMPD’s Sexual Assault Cold Case Unit have charged Johnny Calvin Kimble for his involvement in a sexual assault.
On November 3, 1992, a 32-year-old female victim advised that she met the suspect while she was at a family members residence.
The victim advised that she was walking with the suspect through a neighborhood when he knocked her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.
During the assault, the suspect took money from the victim and fled the scene, according to a news release.
Detectives obtained warrants for Kimble’s arrest on April 12, 2018.
Kimble was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Rape and Common Law Robbery.
