If you think Friday the 13th is bad luck, you’re not alone.
According to the Stress Management Center Phobia Institute in Asheville, between 17 and 21 million people dread the date.
So many in fact, that it’s an official phobia called paraskevidekatriaphobia.

Businesses lose more than $800-million every year because of Friday the 13th.
People avoid going to work, getting married and traveling.
The travel website Kayak says the number of people flying drops more than 40-percent when Friday the 13th rolls around.

Friday the 13th falls on the calendar twice this year; it happens again another one in July.
