Tree Crashes Through Bedroom in East Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, NC –Β Strong winds brought trees crashing down throughout Charlotte, some blocking roads, and others damaging homes.
It’s a mess for one East Charlotte family. They came back to their home on Erskine Drive to find part of a tree in their bedroom.
“We thought it was just on the outside. Until, I got in here and opened my bedroom door and, poof!” says resident Angela Misenhaimer.
Part of the ceiling is missing as water dripped into buckets on the floor.
Misenhaimer says she was at church when her neighbor called her to tell her what happened.
“When I seen that I was about to cry. But I was thanking God that I wasn’t, and neither my husband was at home,” she says.
