CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are investigating after a person was shot in east Charlotte Thursday afternoon.
The shooting happened shortly before 3:30pm at a home on Harrisburg Road. Neighbors told police the victim was shot by someone in a passing vehicle.
Medic says the victim was taken to CMC with life threatening injuries.
Police have not released any information on a possible suspect or vehicle description at this time.
