Charlotte’s Growing Problems

More and more people are coming to Charlotte every day… Nearly 60 people a day are packing their bags and moving to the Queen City! No wonder why we’re seeing so many apartments going up… to compare Washington DC gets about 34 people a day. Seattle is 57. And Austin gets a little more than 100 a day.

A very grumpy opinion article on the Charlotte Observer says, we’re headed to disaster. Our grocery stores, roads, schools, and hospitals can’t handle the growth. Charlotte City Council is trying to figure it out. One member saying they just don’t have a plan and don’t know what they want the city to look like. Critics say the people and politicians need to get over it and just raise taxes and move on.
