CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and United States Secret Service says the public should be prepared for road closures as Vice President Mike Pence visits the area Friday afternoon.
Police say road closures between the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport and the Park Expo and Conference Center located at 800 Briar Creek Road will be sporadically in place between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
The public is encouraged to seek alternate routes to their desired destination, if possible.
