The International Champions Cup Is Coming Back To Bank Of America Stadium

CHARLOTTE, NC — After a one year break, international soccer is coming back to the Queen City. The International Champions Cup is revving up to take over Bank of America Stadium once again.

Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund will take the pitch on July 22nd, and, judging by the amount of fans at Thursday’s press conference, the Bank should be packed.

For those looking for a reason to attend, Liverpool is one best teams in the world this year and Dortmund has U.S. men’s national star Christian Pulisic. So show up and help the QC’s hopes of one day getting an MLS team.

The CEO of the CRVA, Tom Murray says, “They were impressed with the friendly performance we had in Charlotte, particularly the attendance. I think anything that Charlotte can do to send a message to the soccer world that they love soccer and are passionate about it helps us whenever we talk to the MLS.”

Tickets to the match will go on sale May 1st.
