Suspects Wanted After 2 Matthews Area Restaurants Were Broken Into Overnight

MATTHEWS, NC — Police are looking for the suspects they say are believed to have broken into two restaurants overnight.

Just before 3am, Matthews Police say they received a security alarm call from the Ming Fu restaurant on W. John Street. Around 7:41am, another call came in about a break-in at the Artful Gourmet Carryout and Catering on E. John Street.

Investigators say both crimes appear to have been committed by the same suspects. Surveillance photos captured them during the break-in, and then taking off in an unknown black or dark colored SUV.
