CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police took a wanted suspect into custody following a SWAT situation in east Charlotte.
Police closed down Idlewild Road North at Snow Lane while the SWAT situation was going on around 8:30am Wednesday morning.
The suspect, Damarie Ordone, eventually surrendered to officers. No injuries were reported.
Ordone has been booked in the Mecklenburg County Jail five times since 2015 for charges ranging from assault on a female to selling MDMA.
