RALEIGH, N.C. — A Silver Alert has been issued for 81-year-old Cecil Rector Hayes who may be endangered.
The Lenoir Police Department says Hayes may be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Hayes was last seen in the 800 block of Beverly Circle in Lenoir, North Carolina.

Police believe he may be traveling to a residence on Oak Hill Lane in Wilkesboro, North Carolina in a white 2013 Toyota Camry, with North Carolina license plates ECL-3099.
He was last seen wearing a Gray and blue plaid shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.
