CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte man with dementia is safe after inadvertently traveling to Tennessee.
The CMPD says Jimmy Rollins, 74, left his residence on Coulwood Drive in his Ford Ranger on Friday afternoon around 2 p.m.
Mr. Rollins’ family says he has been diagnosed with dementia and they reported him missing around 9 p.m. Friday night, when he did not return home.
Fortunately, Mr. Rollins was located uninjured in Greenville Tennessee, which is northwest of Asheville, North Carolina. The CMPD says he was found safe but disoriented.
