High School Student Gets The Chance To Play With Tiger At Quail Hollow Club
CHARLOTTE, NC — The Wells Fargo Championship officially gets underway Thursday at Quail Hollow Club, but today a lucky high school student got the opportunity of a lifetime to golf with Tiger Woods.
For 18 holes Shahbaz Hashmi got to walk and play Quail Hollow with Tiger Woods, and the 17-year-old held his own.
Tiger Woods says, “He did fantastically today. He hit it well, he putted well, this is not an easy golf course.”
Tiger and Shahbaz weren’t the only pairing that brought out the crowd in droves.
A Panthers dream pairing, complete with Luke Kuechly serving as caddie for Greg Olsen once again.
Olsen says, “He’s probably a lifer. I got the most expensive caddie in PGA Tour history on my bag so I’m in pretty good shape.”
Tiger will finish up in the tournament over the next few days, while Shahbaz will travel back to Texas and take five AP exams next week.
