Race For Mecklenburg County Sheriff: Antoine Ensley

CHARLOTTE, NC — More than 10,000 people have voted early in Charlotte-Mecklenburg ahead of next week’s primary election.  The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s race is one of the most highly-contested races. Rising is talking to all three Sheriff’s candidates to get their stance on several hot-button issues impacting the race.

Antoine Ensley is a former CMPD officer and police chief in the town of Fletcher, North Carolina, near Asheville. He’s making his third run for sheriff.
