Six Suspects Charged In 2017 Chesterfield County Murder, One Still Wanted

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office says seven suspects have been charged in connection to 25-year-old Darius Robinson’s murder back in April of 2017.

Daquan Timmons, 22, of Monroe, and Jamison Chambers, 19, 0f Wingate, are each charged with Murder and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime. Deputies say Timmons is currently in custody at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Jail, and Chambers is being held in Union County.

Other suspects charged in the case are Milik Smith, 17, and Imija Smith, 19, both of Polkton, Randi Rivers, 20, of Wadesboro, and Laquesha Funderburk, 24, of Mt. Croghan. The Smiths and Rivers are each charged with taking part in the armed robbery, and Funderburk is charged with Accessory Before and After the Fact of Murder.

Officials are still looking for Taquacious Funderburk, 19, of Lancaster, who is also charged with Armed Robbery.

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, SC — Deputies are looking for 21-year-old Daquan Timmons in connection to a home invasion where one man was shot and killed on April 23.

According to detectives, Timmons is believed to have robbed and killed 25-year-old Darius Robinson at his home on Airport Road in Pageland. Witnesses told deputies that a woman went to the home looking to buy drugs, Robinson denied having any, and then two masked men forced their way inside and shot him in the chest.

Deputies say the suspects took off in a gray, older model Mercedes.

Timmons is wanted for Murder and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime.
