Race For Mecklenburg County Sheriff: Garry McFadden

CHARLOTTE, NC– More than 14,000 people have voted early in Charlotte-Mecklenburg ahead of next week’s primary election. The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s race is one of the most highly-contested races. Rising got the chance to talk to all three Sheriff’s candidates this week to get their stance on several hot-button issues impacting the race.

Garry McFadden stopped by Rising Friday.

McFadden worked 36 years with CMPD, including 20 years with the homicide unit. He had a reality TV show called “I Am Homicide” on the cable network Innovation Discovery.
