Clean Up Continues After Train Derailment In Fort Mill
Norfolk Southern is still working around the clock to clean up following a 16 car train derailment in Fort Mill Friday.
The used cranes tot lift the rail cars off of an embankment and out of a creek. The accident occurred near Maple Street about two miles from downtown Fort Mill.
The cars spilled grain, frozen food, fertilizer, and diesel fuel. No one was hurt.
The National Transportation Safety Board is still investigating to find out why it happened.
