Incumbent Alma Adams To Compete For U.S. House District 12

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Incumbent Alma Adams took over the votes for the states 12th District during the Republican Party primary election.

Adams came out with 85.80 percent of the votes.

The democratic candidate was previously elected to serve the 12th Congressional District in November of 2016.

Adams will likely face Republican Paul Wright in the November general election.

Wright was once elected as Superior Court Judge and ran in several contested political elections.
