Nearly A Year After Their Son’s Murder, Parents Are Still Calling For Suspects To Come Forward

CHARLOTTE, NC — Two south Charlotte parents are pleading for answers nearly a year after their son was murdered in a deadly home invasion.

Detectives say armed suspects broke into the home on Outer Bridge Lane last August, and shot 25-year-old Josh Schulman before brutally beating his 70-year-old father.

Josh’s parents are continuing to call on the suspects to come forward.

“Josh was a terrific guy. I’m not sure why this happened,” says his father Larry Schulman. “I know somebody out there knows something, and we need you to step forward so we can have closure on our son’s life.”

The Schulmans and CMPD are offering $15,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
