ALBEMARLE, NC — Police have already charged a Concord man with breaking into multiple vehicles across the area, and say he could be responsible for more.
Richard Lee Scott Kuckenbrod, 31, was arrested after police issued a warning across social media about an increase in vehicle break-ins throughout the city. Investigators say help from the community led them to identifying Kuckenbrod as the suspect in several cases.
He is currently charged with four counts each of Felony Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle and Misdemeanor Larceny. Investigators say they are still trying to determine if Kuckenbrod is responsible for several more cases that occurred in the last month.
Officials say additional charges are possible.
