CMS Teachers Rally In Marshall Park To Continue Push For Better Pay, Better Funding

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte-Mecklenburg teachers continue to push for pay raises, student safety, and building improvements.

More than two dozen teachers gathered in Marshall Park Thursday. Most took a second personal day after attending the massive rally in Raleigh on Wednesday.

Jeff Moshe, a teacher at Southwest Middle School, says he will continue to march until lawmakers pay attention.

“We’re going to carry the message as far as we can, to as many people as we can however we have to,” says Moshe. “These people mean business. We mean to have our voices heard.”
