ROCK HILL, SC — Police are investigating after a vehicle overturned Friday afternoon, killing the driver.
The accident happened around 2pm on Mount Gallant Road near Norwood Ridge Drive. According to investigators, the driver was traveling north when their silver Kia Rondo ran off the right side of the road, hit a concrete culvert and went airborn.
The vehicle rolled twice, police say, and the driver was thrown from the car. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, and died at the scene.
The driver has not yet been identified. The investigation is ongoing.
