Authorities Asking For Assistance In Identifying Robbery Suspect

LANCASTER, SC–The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance in identifying suspects who stole Apple watches from the AT&T store on Charlotte Highway in Indian Land Friday.

Reports say, an employee of a nearby business arrived for work a little before 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning and noticed broken glass.

The responding deputy reportedly found that a large rock had been thrown through a window of the store.

Video surveillance showed a car believed to be a Buick Century pull up to the front of the store at around 10:42 p. m.

A black male approximately 5’10”- 6’ tall threw a rock through the window and entered the store.

The man was described as having a beard and a mustache and was wearing a black hoodie over a maroon shirt, blue jeans, maroon and black Nike shoes, and a black ball cap.

He entered the store and grabbed two Apple watches before fleeing the scene.

The car was driven by a second person. No images of the car or its driver were captured.
