Wilson’s World: Enjoying Fan Appreciation Day and ‘Solo’ at Racing Electronics
CONCORD, N.C. -Wilson was really pumped this morning…the Coca Cola 600 is this weekend, it’s Fan Appreciation Day at Racing Electronics and the long awaited ‘Solo’ hits theaters tonight.
Today Wilson was at Racing Electronics to find out more about their upcoming Fan Appreciation Day. He went into their lab to get a quick look at how some of their products are made and then moved next door where he took us through the garage at Streetside Classics and into the track area at K-1 Speed In Door Go-Cart Racing.
Racing Electronics is a major source for racing communications equipment and they work hard to make the race fan’s experience a lot more exciting. You will even find Wilson using their products on race day. Fans can rent headsets, scanners and gear that kicks the racing experience up more than a notch. Fans can go on-line to order and then pick it up at either the store at at their their retail store at 840 Derita Road in Concord or from today through Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Today from noon until 9pm the public is invited to stop by RE at 840 Derita Road in Concord for their Fan Appreciation Day to enjoy an afternoon of family fun. The event will include tours of the RE facility, classic and race car displays at Streetside Classics, go-kart racing on the track K-1 Speed In Door Go-Cart Racing, a Racing Electronics “fire sale,” food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, giveaways, music and more.
