Grievous Gallery Rage Room: Fling Bottles, Feel Relief.
Tim Demers bills himself as the Willy Wonka of broken glass. He and his wife, Elysia, are owners of Grievous Gallery and the Rage Room in the back of the building. A spot where you hurl glass – bottles, plates, vases, maybe a picture of your ex-husband – all with the idea of releasing your anger and frustration.
Tim says, “Really just trying to create an atmosphere where people can feel free, and it comes natural for them to laugh, scream, cry, all the above, but most of all let it go and leave it with us.”
The room itself is dark with a giant eye mural at your back and three brick walls. You’re given a crate of glass, you pick your music, and you let it fly.
