More Storms Sunday, Then We Get a Big Break

One more day of storms, and then things quiet down for a stretch. A cold front drives in from the mountains Sunday bringing showers and storms there during the afternoon, and then isolated storm chances across the Piedmont Sunday evening. The skies clear and the air dries out for most of the week. Monday through Wednesday is a lot less humid, and will feel really nice. We’ll warm up heading into the weekend, and get another shot at rain next Saturday.

Tonight: Isolated showers and storms. Low 67°.

Sunday: Late afternoon/evening storm chances. High 89º.

Sunday Night: Beginning to dry out. Low 65°.

Monday: Mostly sunny, less humid. High 85°.
