Two Charged With Drug Trafficking In Iredell County
IREDELL COUNTY, NC — Two men from Syracuse, New York are facing multiple charges after authorities found drugs, weapons, and ammo in their car Monday.
Kevin Green, 31, and Nicholas Rodman, 32, were arrested after authorities found a large amount of drugs in their vehicle during a routine traffic stop on I-77 northbound.
Agents with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Interstate Criminal Enforcement (ICE) Team stopped the suspects’ vehicle near Mile Marker 65 when they noticed them speeding. While speaking with the suspects, officials say a canine detected the scent of drugs inside the vehicle.
Officials say a search revealed 520 grams of MDMA of “Molly Rocks,” 1000 Ecstasy pills, and a small amount of marijuana worth an estimated $115, 625. A .357 revolver and ammunition was also found in the trunk.
Both men are charged with Felony Trafficking MDA/MDMA by Possession and Felony Trafficking MDA/MDMA by Transport.
Rodman is additionally charged with Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Misdemeanor Resisting a Public Officer, and Misdemeanor Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance.
