Suspects Break Through Wall To Get Inside Matthews AT&T Store

MATTHEWS, NC — Police are looking for two suspects caught on camera while breaking into an AT&T store early Wednesday morning.

The suspects broke into the store on Matthews Township Parkway around 2:43am. Officers say they arrived just as the suspects were leaving the scene, but were unable to capture them.

According to investigators, the suspect first broke into the GNC next door, and then broke through the wall and into the AT&T store. Police say a large bag filled with cash and cell phones was recovered inside the store.

The suspects are described as two black males wearing dark clothing and hoodies.
