Rock Hill Man Arrested For Selling Vehicles That Didn’t Belong To Him

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police say they arrested a Rock Hill man for selling vehicles that didn’t belong to him.

Bernard Gaston is accused of receiving vehicles from an auto dealer after telling the owner he would detail the vehicles and return them to the dealership.

Police say Gaston never returned the vehicles and it is believed that he sold them while they were in his possession.

Gaston has been charged with two counts of breach of trust and one count of obtaining goods under false pretense.  His bond was set at $195,000.

Detectives say they are still trying to recover a 2007 Lexus E350 that was possibly sold to a victim with no title.  Anyone who has invested money with Gaston for purchase of vehicles or who has purchased a vehicle from Gaston should contact the Rock Hill Police at 803-329-5639.
