How Soon is too soon to get engaged?

The pop star and SNL comedian are reportedly in no hurry to tie the knot.
Their friends first learned about the surprise engagement Saturday, though some think Pete popped the question right away.
Davidson first confirmed he and Ariana were dating in a Instagram post on May 30th, but she was spotted wearing a rock on her ring finger four days later.

Some quickie engagements don’t work out:

They share a child, but are no longer together.

Still, some quickly engaged couples are still going strong.
Ryan Lochte proposed to former Playboy playmate Kayla Rae Reid less than one month after confirming their relationship.
They were married in January and recently welcomed their first child.
