June 26th VA Town Hall Aims To Help Improve Veteran Medical Care, Treatment
CHARLOTTE, NC — The VA is taking a step to improve veterans medical care and treatment.
Leaders from Salisbury will join their counterparts at the VA Health Care Center on Tyvola Road in Charlotte this month for a town hall discussion. Veterans will be able to express their concerns and complaints.
The town hall will also provide help with benefits, mental health services and treatment information.
VA Health Care Administrator, Kenneth Mortimer says, “It’s important for veterans to share their story with us to give us an opportunity to listen to them. That’s how we make our system the best VA it can be is in partnership with our veterans.”
In February, WCCB reported that the VA center in Charlotte has had more than a thousand complaints since it opened in 2016.
The VA town hall is scheduled for June 26th, and starts at 3pm.
