CHARLOTTE, NC — Police have filed additional charges on a 21-year-old man already accused of murder.
Police have now charged Demahj Wright for his role in a shooting that happened around 11:20am on May 24th. Investigators say the victim was turning onto W. Sugar Creek Road from I-85 when someone began shooting into his vehicle.
The victim received minor injuries from shattered glass and shrapnel.
Officials say Wright was later identified as a suspect in the case. He is additionally charged with Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Conveyance in Motion and Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill.
Wright was already in custody for the June 4th murder of Tevin Snow.
