Students and Faculty from Providence Day School Injured in Deadly Bus Crash

CHARLOTTE, NC – We’re learning more about a deadly bus crash in Argentina – involving students and faculty from Providence Day School. A person not associated with the school died.

The school says several students were injured along with two faculty chaperones. Pictures posted on social media show the student travel group having fun and seeing the sights in Argentina.

The school isn’t releasing the names of those hurt and won’t say how bad their injuries are.

They did release a statement reading in part, “We are all deeply shaken by the accident and are terribly saddened by the loss a non-PDS family experienced as a result of the incident.”
