Rain and Storms Drive Down Temps to Start the Week.

Rain over the next couple of days along with a weak cold front helps to take that heat down a few notches. Expect storms to kick off in the mountains Monday morning, and then spread south across the Piedmont throughout the afternoon and evening. Keep your heads up, there’s a marginal risk they could turn severe. A cold front drops in Monday night into Tuesday dropping temps into the mid 80s. Temps stay a bit cooler until Thursday when highs climb to the mid 90s, and then stay there through the weekend.

Tuesday: Cooler, rainy. High 85°.
