A Sacramento family got the surprise of their life when their dog that had gone missing nearly two years ago found his way home.
Thanks to the Sacramento County Bradshaw Animal Shelter and a microchip that came up as a match, these family members got to experience the best surprise of their lives.
Harmony, a mother of five, told her kids they would be volunteering at the animal shelter. Once they arrived, they saw their dog Macho making a might return to the family after he had been missing since November 2016. The tears were just flowing.
“I was so glad that he recognized us too. I was scared he wasn’t going to recognize us,” one of Harmony’s daughters said.
The family says Macho felt startled and took off running when the family was moving from Sacramento to Marysville.
“He was like my best friend,” another daughter said.
