Push For Voting Rights At Age 16
16 year olds could be able to vote in the next presidential election. Council Members in Washington D.C. will hear a measure tomorrow that would give 16 and 17 year olds the right to vote in local races, as well as in Presidential elections. Critics argue teens are just single issue voters, hoping to move the needle only on issues such as legal marijuana or college loans.
