CLOVER, SC — A man was killed Tuesday afternoon after getting run over while trying to bail from a run away truck.
The accident happened around 1:45pm on private property on Riddle Mill Road. Troopers say the driver of a 1985 GMC pickup was towing a utility trailer up a hill when the truck started rolling backwards.
Officials say the driver tried to bail out of the vehicle, but was knocked down by the door and run over.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
