Violent Pineville Armed Robbery Caught On Surveillance

PINEVILLE, NC — Police are looking for three suspects and a driver in connection to an armed robbery Monday morning.

Around 11:30am, three armed male suspects entered the Sprint Store at 9105 Pineville-Matthews Road, forcing two employees and a customer to the ground. Surveillance video then shows two of the suspects leading one employee and the customer to a back room.

Investigators say a driver, possibly female, was waiting in a getaway car outside the store. The suspects took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and store merchandise.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Police say the vehicle used in the robbery has been located and seized, but they’re asking anyone who may recognize it to contact police. It is described as a 2000 green and while Lincoln Town Car SI.
