4 Arrested In Salisbury Roundup Operation, 2 Still Wanted

SALISBURY, NC — After months of investigation, Salisbury Police arrested four suspects Thursday afternoon during a roundup operation.

Police say the following suspects were arrested and charged in connection to multiple felony investigations over the past few months:

  • Jeremiah Obrien Mason, 16, of Salisbury was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Attempted Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. The warrant was issued following the investigation of an incident that occurred on Standish Street on June 21st. Mason was issued no bond.
  • Joshua Dewayne Pruitt, 24, of Salisbury, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. The warrant was issued following the investigation of an incident that occurred on Park Avenue on May 22nd.
    Pruitt was issued no bond.
  • David Leon Simpson, 37, is charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. The warrant was issued following the same investigation that involved Pruitt on Park Avenue on May 22nd. Simpson is a co-defendant with Pruitt. Simpson was already in the Rowan County Jail on unrelated charges. Pruitt was issued no bond.
  • Travaree D’Von Miller, 18, is charged with AWDWISI. The warrant was issued following the investigation of a shooting that occurred on Pearl Street on July 10, 2017. Miller was already in the Rowan County Jail on unrelated charges. Miller was issued an additional $75,000.00 Bond.

Police say they are still looking for the following suspects:

  • Deviyion Barnhardt, 18, is wanted for Attempted Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
  • Cameron Jermaine Knox, 28, is wanted for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Both of suspects are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
