CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The CMPD is asking for assistance locating man wanted for multiple crimes after he turned off his electronic monitoring device.
Alan Montoya Vargas is wanted for Assault on a Female, Domestic Violence Protective Order Violation, Damage to Property, and Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device.

Vargas was court ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of his pre-trial release. On July 3rd 2018, Vargas cut off his electronic monitor and was last known to be in the area of 10225 Feldfarm Lane at the Suburban Extended Stay in Charlotte.
