CHARLOTTE, NC — A $10,000 reward is being offered for any relevant information concerning the February 2017 murder of an 18-year-old east Charlotte girl.
On Thursday, February 9th, 2017, around 8:39am, police found the body of Shania Hammonds behind a home on Willow Gate Lane. Hammonds was pronounced dead on the scene.
In February 2018, investigators say Hammonds death was reevaluated and classified as a homicide. Detectives are now seeking any additional information that may lead to an arrest in her murder case.
