LENOIR, N.C. — Police say they charged a Lenoir woman with murder after someone she delivered drugs to overdosed and died.
Erica Haas, 23, is accused of providing Hanna Kincaid with fentanyl, a powerful pain medication. Kincaid reportedly overdosed and died from the drug on May 1st.
Through an exhaustive investigation, the Lenoir Police Department arrested Haas after determining she was the person who delivered the drugs to Kincaid, according to a news release.
Haas has been charged with second degree murder by distribution of unlawful substance. She was given a $500,000 bond.
