Concord PD Investigating After Suspects Entered A Dozen Unlocked Vehicles Overnight

CONCORD, NC — Police are warning residents to lock their doors after a dozen unlocked vehicles were entered overnight Tuesday.

Police say all of the vehicles were unlocked and there was no evidence of forcible entry. Two of the 12 vehicles had items stolen from inside. The stolen items included a 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun and a bottle of hydrocodone, according to police.

Concord Police is investigating. They’re also reminding residents to lock their doors and secure valuable when leaving their vehicle in both residential or commercial areas.
