CHARLOTTE, N.C. (News Release) — Reid’s Fine Foods’ third Charlotte location, a 2,100 square foot space on the first floor of 121 West Trade in Uptown Charlotte, is slated to open late this July.
“We have seen tremendous growth in Charlotte over the years and we are looking forward to mirroring that development by opening our third location,” says Tom Coker, managing partner of Reid’s Fine Foods. “We are excited to cater to the Uptown market and bring the brand back downtown.”
Like other Reid’s locations, the Uptown store will offer lunch for both dine-in and to-go ordering, house-made fresh foods, a wine shop, catering services, and gift baskets. Guests will find the sandwiches, wraps, salads, and sides they’ve come to know and love at this location, too, on top of extensive catering options for businesses in the area.
As a new offering, the Uptown store will serve breakfast, led by Chef James Loftus and his team. This menu will include, but will not be limited to: Avocado Toast with pickled red onions, roasted tomatoes, and micro greens; Southern Fired Chicken Biscuit or Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit; the Breakfast Bowl, a selection of grits, gravy, bacon, house sausage, eggs, black beans, pico de gallo, potatoes, and avocado; and Burrito Ranchero with scrambled eggs, black beans, potatoes, sausage, pico de gallo, avocado, and cheddar cheese. A full coffee bar will also be stocked with a number of classic beverages from iced drinks to hot drinks to accompany your meal or give you an extra boost throughout the day.
Reid’s Uptown will be open 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. The third location will serve the same weekly specials as Myers Park and SouthPark including half-off steakburgers on Tuesdays and prime rib sandwiches on Thursdays, in addition to rotating seasonal specials.
