In-flight Matchmaker Apologizes After Backlash
The woman who posted a viral Twitter thread about a couple sitting in front of her on a plane says she’s now sorry for invading their privacy.
Rosey Blair shared the strangers’ love connection.
She purchased additional wi-fi to document every flirt and posted pictures where she tried to hide the couple’s faces.
But their identities eventually got out and the female passenger says she was harassed to the point that she quit social media.
Blair tweeted a lengthy apology for her thread, ‘When I made this and shared it, I was happy, joyful and overcome with authentic and sincere excitement. So much so that I could not see the potential exploitative nature of the outcome and my actions.’
‘Every woman has a right to their own story and to have taken away yours and turned it into my own was wrong,’ Blair added.
