EOTC: Users Lose Followers As Twitter Purges Thousands Of Suspicious Accounts

CHARLOTTE, NC — Have you noticed your follower count drop on Twitter? The social media giant is purging tens of thousands of suspicious accounts.

Most people will lose roughly four followers, while larger accounts should expect a more significant drop.

Officials say the move is to help Twitter be “A more trusted service for public conversation.”
