Charlotte Chamber, CRVA Support Bringing RNC To Charlotte In 2020

CHARLOTTE, NC — Both the Charlotte Chamber and the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority are supporting council’s efforts to bring the RNC to the Queen City.

CRVA CEO Tom Murray says it’s about the economic impact. “It’s about how it creates jobs and opportunities for our citizens. Remember, 1 in 9 people in our community work in the hospitality industry. So, 144-thousand people support the industry that is the hospitality industry, so that’s what’s really important to us.”

The Republican National Committee should announce their decision later this week in Atlanta.
