Teen Killed In Cabarrus County Crash

CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Troopers say a teenager was killed in a multi-vehicle wreck in Cabarrus County.

The crash happened around 7am on Old Salisbury-Concord Road at Irish Potato Road.  Officials say 18-year-old Brain Manring failed to yield at a stop sign and made a left turn into a tractor trailer truck.  Manring was killed as a result of the collision.

Two other people were taken to local hospitals for minor injuries.  The road was shut down for several hours as Troopers investigated.
