Three Arrested In Burke County Drug Investigation, One Still Wanted
MORGANTON, NC — A drug investigation involving two Morganton homes has led to the arrest of three suspects and the search for a fourth.
Detectives searched a home on Valley Trail Crossing on July 6th and another home on Silver Creek Church Road on July 13th. Officials say they found methamphetamine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia during their investigations.
Bruce Hanna, 59, is charged with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling/Vehicle/Place for Controlled Substances, Felony Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in connection to the Valley Trail address. Hanna is additionally charged with Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Distribute Heroin, Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Distribute Methamphetamine, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Meth, Possession of Marijuana up to .5 ounce, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in connection to the Silver Creek address.
Charles Hall, 39, is charged with Resisting a Public Officer, Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Distribute Heroin, and Possession of Heroin.
Shannon Furr, 40, is charged with Possession of Schedule II, Methamphetamine. Furr was also served an active warrant for Simple Assault/Assault and Battery.
Deputies say they are still looking for Danielle Turbyfill, 30, who is wanted for Felony Maintaining a Dwelling/Vehicle/Place for Controlled Substances and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
