Fifth Person Charged In Waddell Street Murder Case

The Latest:

Police say they have arrested a fifth person in connection to a murder in northwest Charlotte in 2017.

Presschara McVay has been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Police say McVay and several men robbed and killed Abraham Wallace on November 12, 2017 on Waddell Street.  Dequan Timmons, Justen Howard, Tyshoine McAfee and Emmanuel Tucker are already facing charges in the case.

The Latest:

Police have arrested four suspects in connection to Sunday’s murder of Abraham Wallace.

Dequan Timmons, 21, Justen Howard, 19, Tyshoine McAfee, 20, and Emmanuel Tucker, 20, were arrested Thursday.

Timmons is charged with Murder, Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, and also served a fugitive warrant out of Chesterfield, SC charging him with Armed Robbery.

Howard and McAfee are both charged with Murder, Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, and Conspiracy.

Tucker is charged with Accessory after the Fact of Murder.

The investigation is ongoing.
